Meet Dr. Eben Larrabee

Eben Larrabee, DMD, MD

Dr. Larrabee was born in Portland, Maine and raised in Southern Maine. He attended the University of New England and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2010.

He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2010. After dental school, he came to Philadelphia to complete a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship through Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in 2017.

In 2020, Dr. Larrabee received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. Following completion of his medical degree, he served as a resident in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, receiving a two-year certificate. During that time, he also completed rotations with anesthesia, plastic surgery, ENT and trauma surgery at various Penn Health System sites including CHOP and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.

Dr. Larrabee finished his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Penn Dental Medicine in 2023, serving as chief resident of the service in his final year. Upon graduation, Dr. Larrabee received the Program Director’s Pinnacle of Proficiency Award, awarded to the resident completing the most inpatient and outpatient surgeries and office visits.

Dr. Larrabee’s clinical interests include office-based anesthesia, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, advanced bone grafting, oral pathology and corrective jaw surgery utilizing virtual surgical planning and custom, patient specific implants. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Outside of the office, Dr. Larrabee loves spending time with his wife, daughter and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Berkeley. Their family loves traveling, dining out and spending quality time with family and friends.
